3 Everyday Easy Pasta Recipes

Do you sometimes think I wish I didn't have to cook today? I feel you and I can totally understand where are you coming from. Working couple specially with kids, it isn't easy to always come up with something easy to cook and easy on budget too. Here I am going to share 3 everyday recipes with less ingredients and easy on your pocket. Nothing beats pasta, if you love Italian food these recipes are for you.

1. Creamy Bacon Linguini Pasta (Serves 2 People)


Ingredients:

2 Tbsp. olive oil

1 Red onion sliced

2 Slices of streaky bacon sliced

1 Small red capsicum sliced

1/2 Cup fresh herbs of your choice

1 Tbsp. dry herbs

Salt and pepper according to taste

100 gms skim milk cream

125 gms linguini pasta , boiled

Parmesan cheese and olives for garnish (optional)


Method:


✅️ Heat oil in a pan, add onions and fry onion until golden brown.


✅️ Add sliced bacon and cook until crispy, add red capsicum fry until soft.


✅️ Add milk cream , herbs , salt and pepper , cook for couple of minutes on a medium heat


✅️ Once sauce is ready, add boiled pasta and mix well, serve immediately with fresh herbs and grated parmesan cheese and olives ( optional)


It will look something like this, totally yummy!

2. Special Tomato Sauce with Spaghetti (Serves 2 people)


Ingredients:

2 Tbsp. Olive oil for cooking

1 Medium onion diced

4 Roma tomatoes diced or 1 Canned tomatoes

100 Gms of pumpkin

1 Carrot peeled and diced

1 Tbsp. minced garlic

50 ml water

20 Gms of fresh herbs

Salt and pepper according to taste

1 Tsp. of sweet paprika

Parmesan cheese to garnish (optional)

125 Gms spaghetti pasta, boiled


Method:

✅️ Heat oil in a pan, fry onions until golden brown. Add garlic and cook for 2 minutes, after this add all veggies and and cook covered by a lid until all veggies are tender.


✅️ Turn off the heat and let it cool down at a room temperature. Using a blender , make a thick sauce out of those veggies., add water during this process.


✅️ Use the same pan and cook above sauce for about 5 minutes, add salt, pepper and paprika and some cheese for extra flavor. Make it yummy!


✅️ Serve sauce with boiled Spaghetti, topped up with extra cheese and fresh herbs.


When I cooked this recipe, it looked like this!

So far so good! Now it's time to try Penne pasta with greens!


3. Penne With Greens (Vegetarian) (Serves 2 people)


Ingredients:

1 Spring onion diced

2 Tbsp. olive oil

1 Tbsp. garlic paste

1/2 Cup peas

1 Cup broccoli florets

1/4 Cup fresh herbs chopped

100 Gms skim milk cream

1 Tsp. chili flakes

1 Tsp. dry herbs

Salt and black pepper as per taste

125 Gms Penne pasta boiled





Method:


✅️ Heat oil in a pan, add and fry spring onions until softened , then add garlic, cook for couple of minutes.

✅️ Add peas, broccoli florets , dry herbs, salt, black pepper , chili flakes, and cook until veggies are tender.

✅️ Serve with your favorite or Penne pasta. Enjoy!
