Jackfruit History in Australia
Let’s talk about Jackfruit history in #Australia, Jackfruit was introduced in Australia back in 1800s which means it’s been here for more than 200 years. However, it’s commercial production started in the middle of 20th century and back then it was a rare fruit.
I am not sure if you are aware that farmers in Australia are also growing Jackfruit due to its ever-increasing demand. Most of the harvest comes from Northern Queensland and Northern Territory as Jackfruit require warmer temperature and tropical condition to grow. Jack Fruit is a plant-based meat like vegetable and full of nutrients.
